D-SBOP

DOYLES D-SBOP blowout preventers are compact, annular-type BOPs that seal reliably on almost any size drill pipe, tool joints, drill collars, kelly casing or wireline. The sealing element lasts and retains its ability to return to the fully opened position. Available in bolted cover, they are lightweight and provide positive pressure control for stripping drill pipe.

FEATURES

• 15 to 20% shorter than comparable annular preventers
• Consist of just five major components – rugged, reliable and easy to service in the field
• Only two hydraulic connections are required – one for opening and one for closing
• Some larger models feature additional ports for convenience when attaching hydraulic lines
• Sealing element retains its ability to return to the fully opened position much longer than other sealing packers – two to four times longer than elements in other annular preventers
