D-F Type Mud Gauge
Type D-F mud gauges are available in pressure ranges 0 to 5,000psi, 10,000psi,15,000psi or 20,000psi. The 4 7/8”face diameter is ideal for choke manifolds and high pressure stand-pipe manifolds. It has the same features as the type D-D mud gauge, plus the enhanced ability to withstand elevated pressures. The type D-F mud gauge is available in 2” line-pipe male-threaded connections or flanged connections in virtually any flange size. The threaded connection is only available from DOYLES in the pressure range of 0 to 5,000psi due to threaded strength limitations. Flanged mud gauges are available in all pressure ranges.
When determining your mud gauge needs, always overestimate your desired working pressure to prevent over-pressurizing your mud gauge during assembly pressure testing. Please see the following table for suggested selections.
